We ALFI is a small, well established, family run business. Based in the mid Welsh borders, we trade mainly locally and also in the Harborne area of Birmingham. We have been furnishing the houses of Harborne for the last 25 years with our solid wood, made to measure furniture. Each piece is made bespoke to fit your space and aesthetic ideal. We visit you in your own home to measure up and establish the style and finish you require.
A hand-made kitchen is ‘a dream come true’. Kitchen pieces are made the exact size needed, so as not to waste any precious space. Our wealth of design experience ensures that the most efficient use of space and an ergonomic design is achieved, ensuring you get the most out of your kitchen. Being made to measure our kitchens require only modest fitting.
Our customers love the mellow tones and soft grain of the Quebec Yellow pine we use exclusively for our furniture. Used since Victorian times the wood has a more pleasing appearance than the slower growing European varieties.
The pieces we make are endless and include tables, chairs, dressers, chiffoniers, beds, bedside tables / drawers, book cases, corner cupboards, entertainment units, desks, benches, bureaus, wardrobes, chests of drawers, coffee tables, blanket boxes…. whatever you need for your home.

The bathroom is another room where space is often at a premium and storage is important. Having bespoke units made here is a real advantage. Pieces can be designed both free standing or to be fitted.
